10:10 Life Vision Update – October 2023

10:10 Life Vision update

10:10 Life is a two-year discipleship journey at The Church of Eleven22 rooted in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

As long as our doors are open we will leverage ourselves and this church for His kingdom. Here are some of the highlights from this last season.

church life

At The Church of Eleven22, we are a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Church Life encompasses all the ways we come together as a church family to help us accomplish this vision. We do this through weekly worship gatherings, Eleven22 Kids and students, disciple groups, Eleven22 Online, next steps and our four primary events that make up Eleven22 Life – Easter, Beach Baptism, Saturated and Christmas Eve.

Saturated

Saturated is an annual event in which we anticipate a move of God to bring revival in our lives individually and as a church body. We experienced a powerful move of God which included:

  • 37,000 people attended in person

  • 89,000 people attended live online

  • 242 baptisms

  • 49 salvations

Virtual Vision Summit

We invited some of our Eleven22 online families from across the United States to our first Virtual Vision Summit and the response was incredible. Pastor Joby personally shared what it means to live an abundant life through the 10:10 Life discipleship journey. This interaction with these families was significant, we were able to connect, disciple and love on them. Several families attended Saturated in person while others took next steps in generosity.

  • 40 families attended from across the United States

  • 24 states were represented

  • Furthest locations: California and Washington State

eternal life

Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Through the Eternal Life initiative, we will continue to make room for one more. As a church, our goal is to plant 1,000 churches, send 100 long-term missionaries, and launch 10+ 22 campuses by 2029.

Church Plants

We have partnered to plant 553 churches toward our goal of 1,000 by the end of 2029.

long-term sending

“We are stepping out in faith to serve as missionaries in Johannesburg, South Africa with Impact Africa. God kindly, and uniquely placed missions in each of our hearts, and we are excited to step into this opportunity to grow and serve God and Impact Africa!

During our time with Impact, we will serve primarily as Intern Advisors, offering counsel, discipleship and leadership to young adults that are seeking to serve in South Africa as Interns. Johannesburg is surrounded with informal settlements housing hundreds of thousands of people in need of the hope, love and freedom known in Jesus. We will often times join the interns in serving these communities: evangelizing door to door, running kids programs, teaching about the Bible in classrooms of all ages, leading Bible studies for high schoolers and educating the community on resources available to at-risk mothers/babies.

We know how impactful it is to have mentors and leaders that can help you navigate through short-term mission opportunities to see what God has next for you. This is why we feel passionate about pouring into the internship and helping young adults take next steps towards the plans God has for them to serve Him and make Him known among the world!”

Campus Launches

On August 13 we opened the doors on our new North Jax campus, where we celebrated the following:

  • 1,561 in attendance

  • 16 people baptized

abundant life

Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Through the Abundant Life initiative, we are going on a mission to rescue the people the Enemy is trying to take out and fight for the people who cannot fight for themselves.

Childhood Poverty

Five pallets full of hundreds of schools supplies were collected at the school supply drive hosted by Eleven22 Kids, Local Mission and Hope’s Closet to distribute to the Boys & Girls Club of NE Florida.

"Thank you so much for all your help and for organizing this drive!  It was the most successful collection I’ve ever seen, and the donations will go so far in our communities and clubs! I know I don’t have to tell you, but the students and their parents/guardians will be so grateful. What’s even sweeter is that I know the students were thought of and prayed for as the supplies were donated. Thanks again & I look forward to working with you all again in the future"

Fight for the Unborn

We hosted “A Night in the Fight for the Unborn” to raise awareness and funding for First Coast Women’s Services, with over 140 people in attendance at the event. Serving has increased at FCWS by 40% and as of August, there have been 719 babies saved since 10:10 Life started in December, which is a 22% increase in babies saved since last year.

Foster Care

On July 30, Hope’s Closet hosted a foster care “One Stop Shop” back to school event where:

  • 26 foster families were severd with a total of 82 guests

  • 69 backpacks stuffed with school supplies were given away

  • 20 school physicals were given

  • 26 haircuts were provided

  • 72 people served a total of over 206 hours

Anti-Human Trafficking

A panel meet and greet event was held on August 14 at the Fleming Island campus.

  • 142 people attended

  • 106 took next steps to serve

First Responders

53 first responders have attended retreats at the Eleven22 Retreat Center focused on their discipleship.
