10:10 Life Vision Update – March 2024

10:10 Life Vision update

10:10 Life is a two-year discipleship journey at The Church of Eleven22 rooted in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

As long as our doors are open we will leverage ourselves and this church for His kingdom. Here are some of the highlights from this last season.

church life

At The Church of Eleven22, we are a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Church Life encompasses all the ways we come together as a church family to help us accomplish this vision. We do this through weekly worship gatherings, Eleven22 Kids and students, disciple groups, Eleven22 Online, next steps and our four primary events that make up Eleven22 Life – Easter, Beach Baptism, Saturated and Christmas Eve.

Testimony sermon series

January 11, we kicked off a five-week sermon series called Testimony about the inseparable link between the blood of Christ and the transformative impact of our testimonies.

Through this series we saw 143 individuals take a next step through believer’s baptism as they publicly declared Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and 183 salvations.

Eleven22 Students

Eleven22 Students gathered from all campuses for ONE Weekend March 1-2 to deepen their relationship with Jesus and to discover how to AWAKEN to the grace, love and abundance of Jesus and live a life of purpose.

  • 1,072 students

  • 171 salvations

  • 336 serve staff leaders

ELEVEN22 KIDS TESTIMONY

The Eleven22 Kids 10:10 Life conversation cards have been such a blessing to our family! Our girls are seven and four and we have been making our way through each card as a family over the last couple of months. It has been so encouraging to hear not only our girls thoughtful, kind answers, but also my husband’s answers too! The best part has been hearing that both girls’ hearts for the Lord and others are growing.

On the card with the question “What are some ways you can you serve your community?” my husband Matt’s answer was to care for our homeless community. He is a man of few words, so his sharing this was a really big deal. As a family we prepared and packed 50 lunches and distributed them around downtown. This showed us that 50 lunches weren’t nearly enough. We are in the midst of taking some steps to see how as a family, we can serve in a better, more focused way.

Ruby, our seven-year-old, pulled a card that asked, “What is God telling you to do?” and without skipping a beat, she boldly answered “GET BAPTIZED!” Praise God! We are now spending time working through the discipleship materials for kids who want to take their next step in baptism.

It has been an incredible joy to sit together for a few minutes, a couple nights a week and talk about how we can serve, who we can share the gospel with and who we can pray for! These are the conversations that we should be having, and I am so grateful for these cards! Thank you all so much for thinking of everything!

eternal life

Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Through the Eternal Life initiative, we will continue to make room for one more. As a church, our goal is to plant 1,000 churches, send 100 long-term missionaries, and launch 22 campuses by 2029.

Campus Launches

On February 23, we held an Orlando interest night at the Orlando Museum of Art where 350+ people came together for a night of prayer, worship and to hear the vision for the Orlando area.

CHURCH PLANT UPDATES

Our church plant partner, King's Table Church, in Raleigh, NC launched on Sunday, January 7 with 280 people in attendance: 230 adults and 50 children, this is an extraordinary launch!

abundant life

Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Through the Abundant Life initiative, we are going on a mission to rescue the people the Enemy is trying to take out and fight for the people who cannot fight for themselves.

FIGHT FOR THE UNBORN

The Mandarin campus hosted a SoupEr’Bowl Chili, Gumbo & Soup Cookoff on Superbowl Sunday. The event raised funds for our 10:10 Life ministry partner, First Coast Women’s Services. There were 117 people who came out to support the cause, enjoy great food and watch the big game.

SPECIAL NEEDS

Hope's Closet hosted two Be-YOU-tiful Boutique events allowing Night to Shine guests the opportunity to find the perfect prom attire for their special evening at Night to Shine. They were able to help 129 kings and queens get red carpet ready with dresses, suits, shoes, accessories and more!

Foster Care

The wrap around support provided to foster families gave one family the confidence to say "yes" to permanently foster an eight-month-old baby! After receiving items donated to One More Child, they shared this testimony: “I came to get these items not thinking I would have this baby long-term, but after talking with you, I think I am supposed to let placement know I will keep this baby as a full-time placement.”
