10:10 Life Vision Update – April 2023

10:10 Life Vision update

10:10 Life is a two-year discipleship journey at The Church of Eleven22 rooted in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” Here are some updates about what has been happening since the December 2022 launch of our three 10:10 Life initiatives.

church life

At The Church of Eleven22, we are a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Church Life encompasses all the ways we come together as a church family to help us accomplish this vision. We do this through weekly worship gatherings, Eleven22 Kids and students, disciple groups, Eleven22 Online, next steps and our four primary events that make up Eleven22 Life – Easter, Beach Baptism, Saturated and Christmas Eve.

Eleven22 Students ONE Weekend

On March 3-5, 648 students and 227 serve staff leaders attended students ONE Weekend. ONE Weekend was an exciting three-day experience at The Church of Eleven22 where ONE more generation united together to declare that Jesus is the ONE thing that drives everything in their lives.

Students from all walks of life gathered in age and gender-specific community groups led by various adult leaders. Students participated in large group sessions at our campuses as well as participated in serve opportunities for organizations and families throughout our church community.

The theme this year was “Together.” Our students dove into what the gospel says about how they can live unified lives, regardless of their differences, by their common love for Christ. Students learned how to lead out into culture, as one, motivated by the mission of advancing the gospel.

It was incredible to see this generation on fire for the Lord. Many prayers were answered and we saw God move in mighty ways among our students!

Eleven22 Online

We recognize that circumstances can sometimes make it difficult to physically attend one of our campuses. We never want geographic location or physical limitations to be an obstacle for discipleship at Eleven22. It is our goal to make the online experience impactful and engaging, with the ability to chat with online hosts, pastors and Care team members during the service. We are excited to watch God work through Eleven22 Online.

  • 1,132 online salvations

  • 18 online disciple groups

Disciple groups

John 10:10 tells us, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” The apostle Peter warns us, “Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

Pastor Joby regularly reminds us how important it is to get in the pack. It’s why disciple groups are such an important part of the 10:10 Life, not only as a place to deepen our relationship with Jesus, but also to share life and burdens with one another.

Since the launch of 10:10 Life, 2,244 people have joined a disciple group!

Stories from Disciple Groups

“One of the biggest steps I ever made was joining a disciple group with complete strangers. It’s where real church happens, a deepening of what we’ve heard. As we discuss sermons and share life’s valleys and mountaintops with one another, we grow together, hold each other accountable and gain a deeper understanding of the gospel.”

eternal life

Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Through the Eternal Life initiative, we will continue to make room for one more. Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Through the Abundant Life initiative, we are going on a mission to rescue the people the Enemy is trying to take out and fight for the people who cannot fight for themselves.
